The story behind the print
This Japanese goldfish poster presents a lively shoal of fish arranged across a pale green background. Red, purple, black, orange, and pink goldfish swim in different directions, each with patterned scales and flowing fins. Bold black calligraphy occupies the upper-left corner, while smaller script sits at the lower left, giving the composition a vintage Japanese print character.
The artwork uses a flat illustrative style with visible texture and layered colour. The fish vary in size and pose, from a large orange fish at the lower right to a small black fish near the centre right. The green background unifies the reds, purples, and oranges, while the calligraphy adds a typographic element. This Japanese goldfish poster works as a colourful focal point in a living room, hallway, or gallery wall.
Supplied unframed, the print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. It is printed with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. The Size selector shows the available sizes for this Japanese goldfish poster.
