The story behind the print
This koi fish wall art print shows three carp circling through a blue pond. A pale orange and white koi swims near the top, a lighter fish curves on the left, and a black carp moves below. Fine white lines suggest ripples across the water, while the fish scales are drawn in orange, white and black.
The composition uses a top-down view with the fish arranged in a loose triangle. The blue background has a grainy, printed texture, and the rippling water lines radiate around each body. The style is illustrative and Japanese-inspired, with simple shapes and a limited palette of blue, orange, white and black.
This print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes.
