The story behind the print

This koi fish wall art print shows three carp circling in a loose spiral against a blue water background. A black and white koi curves down from the upper left, a red-orange koi sweeps across the right side, and a cream koi turns along the lower left. Visible brushstrokes and soft ripples give the water a painted texture.

The composition is portrait oriented and centred on the fish, with no text or border elements. The palette combines blue, black, white, red, orange, and cream. The Japanese poster style uses expressive, painterly marks rather than sharp outlines, and the circular arrangement draws the eye around the group of koi.

This print is supplied unframed and the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
