The story behind the print

This unframed paper print features a surreal illustration of a figure whose body is a large yellow lemon with a single green leaf. A small, simply drawn head with a neutral expression sits atop a thin black neck, while elongated line-drawn legs stride across a flat peach background. The composition is centred and vertical, with visible pencil-like texture in the yellow fill and a hand-drawn quality throughout.

The artwork combines a limited palette of lemon yellow, forest green, black, and peach with a minimalist illustrative style. The figure's body takes the shape of a ripe lemon, complete with a pointed tip at the base, and the thin legs are rendered in loose, sketchy strokes. This lemon shape lady poster uses negative space and simple outlines to create a distinctive, food-inspired character that stands out on the warm background.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks, each print is rolled and packaged by hand. The frame is not included, and the print is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
