The story behind the print

This graphic illustration showcases a central black vinyl record bearing the text "ON RECORD," encircled by a series of reaching hands in contrasting black and blue tones. The composition is balanced by stylized leaf motifs positioned in the corners, set against a textured pale blue background. This artwork offers a modern, illustrative take on music culture and collective appreciation, making it a distinct choice for music enthusiasts.

The design employs a bold, limited colour palette that emphasises the radial movement of the hands towards the record. Each element is rendered with clear, graphic lines that stand out against the soft, mottled blue backdrop. This unframed print captures a dynamic moment, blending musical themes with botanical-inspired decorative details. It is suitable for living spaces, studios, or music rooms where a contemporary visual focus is desired.

Each piece is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. We use a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks to ensure clarity and colour depth. The product is rolled and packaged by hand to maintain quality. It is available in the configured sizes and is supplied unframed; frame is not included.
