The story behind the print
The On Record print depicts a stylised vinyl record at the centre, surrounded by multiple hands reaching inwards to connect with the music. Text reading ON RECORD sits clearly at the top, framing the composition. This illustrative piece uses a vibrant mosaic of pink, magenta, and gold tones to create a textured, abstract background, highlighting the shared human connection to music.
Designed with a focus on communal engagement, the artwork combines bold typography with expressive hand gestures. The composition draws the eye towards the central record, using a rich, colourful palette that stands out against the soft background. This illustrative style blends modern artistic techniques with the timeless aesthetic of music culture, making it suitable for studios, living rooms, or music-themed interiors.
