The story behind the print

This orange cat eating noodles poster shows a ginger cat with closed eyes lifting a tangle of noodles from a dark green bowl using black chopsticks. The bowl is patterned with bold black and white stripes, and the background is a warm beige with dark kanji characters in the upper corners.

The design uses a Japanese woodblock style with a limited palette of tan, green, black and beige. The cat's paws frame the bowl, and the vertical composition draws the eye from the noodles to the cat's face. The print is a reproduction of an illustration and is supplied unframed.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector. The frame is not included.
