The story behind the print
This orange cat sleeping poster centres on a curled ginger cat resting on a green armchair. Behind it, a striped orange and cream wall and a tall black plant create a strong graphic backdrop, while a black teapot on stacked books and a bowl of fruit sit in the foreground. The composition uses flat shapes and a limited palette to build a calm, modern interior scene.
The illustration relies on bold contrasts between orange, green, black, and cream. The cat's closed eyes and tucked pose give a relaxed mood, and the simple lines of the furniture and objects keep the image clean and contemporary. This makes the print suitable for living rooms, kitchens, or bedrooms where a warm, illustrative style is wanted.
