The story behind the print
This pink eclectic animal poster centres on a surreal living room scene filled with unexpected creatures. A capybara rests on a pink sofa beside a standing penguin, while a flamingo, an owl and a purple octopus occupy the surrounding space. The composition also includes a tall yellow lamp, a bookshelf and large leafy plants.
The artwork uses a bold palette of pink, orange, purple and green, with flat illustrative shapes and a playful, collage-like arrangement. The sofa holds patterned cushions and a fringed throw, and a patterned rug anchors the foreground. The scene is built from distinct objects rather than realistic perspective, giving the print a quirky, contemporary character.
