The story behind the print

This poppy flower wall art presents an illustrative botanical study of open blooms and seed pods. A red poppy, a yellow poppy and two cream flowers sit among blue seed heads on tall, slender stems. The composition is set against a soft beige background with a thin blue border.

The artwork uses loose ink lines and watercolour-style washes, giving the petals a translucent, sketched quality. The palette combines red, blue, yellow and cream, with green stems and leaves adding contrast. The vertical arrangement of flowers and pods creates a gentle upward rhythm across the print.

Supplied unframed, this botanical floral print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
