The story behind the print
This vertical illustration depicts a collection of hanging paper lanterns in deep red, soft pink, and gold against an olive green background. The lanterns vary in shape, including round, cylindrical, and teardrop forms, with some featuring painted white flowers and gold tassels. The composition arranges these elements in a balanced, overlapping pattern that fills the frame.
The artwork uses a flat, illustrative style with visible brush-like strokes and gold linework that defines the lantern ribs and decorative details. The palette combines warm reds and pinks with muted green and gold accents, creating a cohesive and decorative image. This lantern poster is suited to living rooms, hallways, or covered outdoor areas, and the unframed paper print allows for flexible framing to match existing decor.
The print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
