The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a red and white koi fish drawn with bold black ink outlines. The fish is shown from above with its body curving slightly to the right, and its fins and tail are detailed with fine line work. A decorative red border frames the beige background, giving the artwork a structured, illustrative look.
The palette is limited to red, white, black, and beige, which keeps the koi fish poster visually striking without becoming busy. The red patches on the fish contrast with the pale body and dark outlines, while the border echoes the red markings. The composition is centred and vertical, so the fish remains the clear focal point in any room.
