The story behind the print
This paper boat poster shows a red origami vessel floating on water, with a sharp triangular sail and folded hull. Beneath it, a dark brown reflection anchors the boat, while cream concentric ripples spread across a muted sage background. A second set of ripples appears in the lower foreground, giving the composition depth and a quiet sense of movement.
The artwork uses a limited palette of red, cream, sage, and dark brown, with a screen-print texture that mimics vintage nautical illustration. The boat sits slightly above centre, balanced by the larger ripple pattern below. This minimalist water ripple print works well in coastal, bathroom, or modern living spaces where a calm, graphic focal point is wanted.
Supplied unframed, this print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
