The story behind the print
This retro flower fan print centres on a stylised fan with six broad blades in pink, orange and cream, radiating from a textured orange circular hub. The fan sits on a pale blue domed base, and the bold orange typography 'HOT STUFF' runs across the bottom of the composition. The dark brown background gives the flat, graphic shapes a strong contrast.
The design uses a limited palette of pink, orange, cream, pale blue and dark brown, with a grainy, screen-printed texture that suggests mid-century poster art. The fan blades are arranged in a symmetrical, centred layout, and the blocky sans-serif lettering adds a typographic element. The illustration style is flat and illustrative rather than realistic.
This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector. The frame is not included.
