The story behind the print
This retro ice cream sundae poster illustrates fifteen distinct desserts arranged in a neat grid. Each glass tumbler holds a different treat, from pink scoops topped with cherries to chocolate sundaes drizzled with sauce and tall milkshakes finished with wafer sticks. The soft pastel background and muted green, pink, and cream palette give the artwork a nostalgic, mid-century feel.
The composition is evenly spaced, allowing each sundae to stand out as a small character. The hand-drawn style uses visible outlines and flat colour fills, with details like dark cherries, orange slices, and scattered nuts adding texture. This illustrative approach keeps the print light and decorative, suitable for a kitchen wall or a cafe display.
