The story behind the print

This retro ice cream poster depicts a stylised soft serve cone with three stacked scoops in vivid orange and yellow. The dessert sits against a textured blue background, and the grainy, stippled finish gives the illustration a screen-printed look. The bold vertical composition draws the eye from the pointed cone to the curled tip of the top scoop.

The colour palette contrasts warm orange and yellow against cool blue, while the simplified shape and visible grain give the ice cream print a playful, mid-century feel. The cone is shown as a flat geometric triangle, and the scoops are separated by soft tonal bands rather than realistic shading. This unframed paper print is suited to a kitchen, cafe or dining space where bright food-themed artwork is wanted.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper, this unframed print is produced with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector. The frame is not included.
