The story behind the print
This retro space satellite poster depicts a black spacecraft silhouette with rectangular solar panels and antennae, centred against a textured orange sun on a warm beige background. The composition is symmetrical and graphic, with the satellite floating in the middle of the frame. The limited palette of orange, beige and black gives the design a mid century sci-fi feel.
The artwork uses a flat, print-like texture that resembles vintage screen printing. The orange sun circle sits behind the satellite, creating a strong focal point without any text or typography. The satellite's boxy body, dish antennae and outstretched solar panels are rendered in solid black, contrasting with the soft background. This unframed paper print suits a gallery wall or a child's bedroom with a space theme.
Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this unframed print is rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector. The frame is not included.
