The story behind the print
This retro sci-fi poster depicts a large orange and blue UFO hovering above three black and white cows in a green field. The cows stand in a row, casting long blue shadows, while a red picnic blanket and a small flask rest in the foreground. Dark trees and rolling hills sit beneath a peach sky, and the grainy illustration style gives the scene a vintage, printed texture.
The composition balances the wide, elliptical spacecraft against the open pasture, using a limited palette of orange, blue, green, and cream. The cows appear calm despite the hovering craft, adding a deadpan humour to the alien encounter. This quirky wall art print works well in a living room, office, or hallway, and the landscape orientation suits a wide wall space.
