The story behind the print
This retro UFO bison poster depicts a flying saucer hovering above a buffalo in a desert landscape. A pale beam of light falls from the saucer onto the bison, while small shrubs and distant rock formations sit along the bottom edge. The composition is portrait-oriented, with the spacecraft centred near the top and the animal filling the lower half.
The artwork uses a limited palette of coral orange, dark green, and off-white. The bison is rendered in textured dark green with lighter highlights, and the saucer is drawn in black and grey with a classic mid-century silhouette. The background has a subtle grainy finish that supports the vintage sci-fi and western mood. The image is purely illustrative, with no typography or text.
This print is supplied unframed and is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. It is printed with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. The design is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
