The story behind the print
This romantic kiss poster depicts a couple in close embrace, the seated figure wearing a coral robe patterned with dark leaf motifs while the standing partner leans in from the right. A teal shutter frame with horizontal panels encloses the scene, and a coral vertical strip runs down the left edge. The composition centres on the kiss against a plain cream background.
The illustration uses a limited palette of coral, teal, cream, and black, with a woodblock-style texture and flat areas of colour. The patterned robe and the shutter frame create a structured, intimate scene. This Japanese couple art print suits a bedroom, living room, or hallway wall.
