The story behind the print
This colourful parrot poster features a scarlet macaw perched on a branch, painted with expressive red, blue and yellow brushstrokes. The bird's white face, dark curved beak and blue eye are clearly defined, while loose blue and gold leaf shapes frame the composition. The cream background keeps the vivid plumage as the main focus.
The artwork uses a painterly, illustrative style with visible brush marks and a portrait orientation. The macaw's body is dominated by bright red, with layered blue and yellow wing feathers and deep navy accents. The background includes stylised blue fronds and warm ochre botanical forms that echo the tropical subject without distracting from it.
Supplied unframed, this animal wall art print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
