The story behind the print
This captivating unframed paper poster presents a striking visual narrative, merging classic outdoor imagery with a retro gaming icon. The print features a man in a plaid shirt, accompanied by his faithful Labrador dog, standing in a rural, tree-lined landscape with mountains in the distance. Above them, an array of pixelated Space Invaders aliens descends from the sky, creating a whimsical yet thought-provoking scene.
The monochrome palette enhances the timeless feel of the landscape while contrasting sharply with the iconic, blocky invaders, evoking a sense of nostalgia for early video games. The composition expertly balances the grounded reality of the man and his dog with the fantastical, invading pixels overhead, making for a compelling piece of wall art that sparks conversation and interest.
