The story behind the print
This sun and moon wall art centres on a stylised celestial face with closed eyes, black lashes, and a small red mouth. Yellow teardrop rays radiate outward from the crescent form against a textured red background, creating a bold, symmetrical composition.
The design uses a limited red and yellow palette with black accents on the lashes and mouth. Curling linework fills the crescent body, while the surrounding rays repeat in a rhythmic pattern. The centred portrait format and flat illustrative style give the print a graphic, folk-inspired character suited to a gallery wall or bedroom.
Supplied unframed, this paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
