The story behind the print

This unframed paper print depicts two sunflowers with orange petals and dark centres rising from a leafy green stem. Behind them, rolling hills in muted green, coral, and cream create a layered landscape. The artwork uses a retro screen print style with visible texture and flat areas of colour.

The composition is portrait-oriented, with the sunflowers dominating the foreground and the hills providing depth. The palette combines warm yellow, orange, and coral with cooler greens and cream. The stylised petals and leaves have a slightly distressed, printed look that suits vintage and mid-century interiors.
