The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a ginger tabby cat reclining across a leopard-print armchair. The cat rests with its front paws tucked over the seat cushion, framed by a black-and-white striped backrest. Behind it, a pink wall is divided by mustard vertical stripes, while a teal potted plant and coral flowers sit at either side.
In the foreground, a pink teapot, a stack of three books and a bowl of green pears rest on a patterned floor. The composition uses flat blocks of colour and bold outlines, combining animal, botanical and interior motifs. The palette mixes pink, mustard, teal, black and orange in a graphic, illustrative style.
