The story behind the print
This tropical botanical print features a large dark green palm frond and slender stems of orange protea flowers arranged in a striped vase. The vase is decorated with vertical bands of navy, orange, and cream, and sits on a flat olive surface. Behind the arrangement, a pink background is layered with a mustard yellow circle and a coral orange arch, creating a bold, flat colour block composition.
The artwork uses a limited palette of coral, mustard, dark green, navy, and cream, with a hand-rendered texture that gives the shapes a subtle grain. The palm leaves spread widely to the left while the protea heads cluster to the right, balancing the vertical vase. This illustrative style suits modern interiors and works as a standalone piece or within a gallery wall.
