The story behind the print

This unframed paper print depicts a stylised woman in a pink skirt walking while carrying an oversized bouquet of tulips. The flowers, rendered in shades of red, pink, and yellow with broad green leaves, dominate the composition against a plain beige background. The artwork combines abstract and illustrative styles, using bold, simplified shapes and a warm, earthy palette.

The design is characterised by its vertical portrait orientation and the contrast between the solid blocks of colour and the thin, sketch-like black lines that define the figure's legs and the flower stems. The woman's form is reduced to a simple triangular skirt and elongated limbs, creating a playful and modern visual. The tulips are depicted with textured, painterly strokes, adding depth to the otherwise flat background.

This tulip flower poster is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes. The frame is not included, allowing you to choose a frame that suits your space.
