The story behind the print
This illustrative wall art print depicts a nostalgic scene centred on a bright red vinyl record player. A hand is shown gently lowering the tonearm onto a spinning disc, creating an immediate sense of musical action. Beside the turntable, a stacked pile of colourful magazines sits near a pastel pink teapot and a matching teacup filled with tea, all set against a soft pink background that unifies the composition.
The artwork utilises a bold, flat-colour aesthetic with expressive brushwork, capturing a playful and modern interpretation of mid-century leisure. The contrast between the vibrant red of the record player and the soft, monochromatic pink setting creates a striking visual balance. This piece celebrates the tactile experience of listening to music, blending retro charm with contemporary artistic flair.
Each piece is supplied unframed and is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. We use a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks to ensure clarity and colour accuracy. Every print is carefully rolled and packaged by hand, and is available in the configured sizes found in our Size selector.
