The story behind the print

This white water lily poster shows three open blooms rising from a pond, each with pointed cream petals and slender stems. Broad green lily pads float across the surface, while rippling blue water and a warm orange-brown current run through the lower half.

The Japanese woodblock-inspired illustration uses flat colour, visible grain and layered shapes to build the pond scene. Cream, sage green and muted blue dominate the palette, with darker teal shadows anchoring the lily pads. The vertical composition places one bloom low right, another centre left and a third upper right.
